most of the best TV and radio are BBC,
and NO adverts- well worth it.
The BBC _does_ carry adverts. In between programs it broadcasts trailers
for forthcoming programmes, which get very annoying the more often you
see/hear them. It insists on broadcasting these trailers even if the
schedule is running late and by not broadcasting them the schedule would
get back on track.
Where are your boobie pics?

ah, those. yes, they are annoying. I still think we'd end up with trashier
programmes if the advertisers were calling the tune though.
Like Coronation Street?

Tossers should be shot, as should anyone who whinges about paying for
the
BBC
Whether or not the BBC is better, doesn't give them the right to steal
licence fees from us whether we want their channels or not.
Think you've just proved my point, now get back in the killfile and
stay
there.
**** OE is doing my head in.
You actually like paying a licence fee for something whether you want it
or not? You are the stupidest person I've ever known. Either you work
for the BBC, or you're just thick as shit.

For you maybe. That doesn't mean everyone else wants it. Sky charge
for their channels, but they don't force you to have them. The BBC are
thieves.
If it happened in Moscow I could understand and I agree, this BBC lark
is a con.

It's so the government can shut down all other channels and broadcast
lying propaganda during a war.
Wot?

That's what I heard years ago. Well can you think of a reason the
government allows them to do it?
WTF are you talking about?

Why does our government allow the BBC (a supposedly private company) to
charge us for something we may not want? And also allows them to fine
us £1000 should we not pay up?
Because we live in a political nanny state run by arseholes.
